    Description

    Fresh from a surplus box, we have a quantity of 0.47 10% axial Philips-Mullard "mustard" caps. Date/factory code A5W refers to the Jan-March quarter, B5W to the Apr-June quarter; either in 1965 or 1975 (there are conflicting reports on when this character code was used on this style of capacitor) I believe most conventional wisdom suggests '65, with the "W" factory. However, I cannot guarantee this. You folks might know more about the history of these laboratory-grade caps than I do!
