Vintage 1968 Mattel TALKING BARBIE Doll #1115 w/Swimsuit (Mute)

Description

Vintage 1968 Mattel TALKING BARBIE Doll #1115 with original swimsuit.
She is in nice, played-with condition.
She has her pull string, but she is mute.  String pulls about halfway out, then stops.
She has blue eyes with rooted eyelashes and light brown eyebrows, twisted ponytail turned to the side and tied with 2 ribbons (1 ribbon missing).  Hair is nice and shiny.  Deep pink lips and cheeks.  Tiny bit of paint loss on lower lip. Tip of nose is a little light.  Eyelashes are pretty full (see close-up pic). She wears her original 2-piece swimsuit, which includes a hot pink hip length top with yellow and hot pink yarn trim at hem and hot pink vinyl shorts.  Some wear to elastic and a little soiling on shorts.   Tiny button is present on top.  Elastic that attaches to button is broken on one end and needs to be reattached.

Arms are tight and can hold a pose.  Both knees click 3 times and hold each pose nicely.  Since these dolls are prone to limbs falling off, I didn't try to move the legs at the hips.  The right leg is coming apart from the body as shown, but is still attached.

The items I am currently selling, have been purchased from either estates or auctions. Most likely, they have been stored in basements or attics.
